Goodbye Amy...

Letter to Nina

Ciao pupa.

Love,
me.

Letter to Nina

Hello babe. I wanted to apologize for today. For the tears I cried when I heard of Amy Jade. I was hoping we'd go back to a concert ... that she would have been better and we would go back together, me you and Dad, once again under the stage. I promised you, I know, but it will not happen. Amy has gone this afternoon with her extraordinary voice that you, my dear, you just know very well ... and, please, pay no attention to those who say that she was just an alcoholic, drug addict, self-defeating ... She was, ABOVE ALL, an extraordinary Artist .... with serious problems with alcohol and drugs but not for this she deserved to dieNo one deserves to die, baby... Life is so precious...and it had never appeared so clear to me like now that I'm waiting for you. But too often we seem to forget that. Everybody. Artists and not, rock stars and ordinary people... I do not hide the worry that sometimes comes over me when I think about certain things ... and about you, still so small and undefended , that will grow in a world such wonderful as  full of snares and trapsAmy Winehouse was certainly not an example to follow, and it's clear. I explained you why, already in my belly. ' Cause I prefer that you know the reality of things since you're just a chick... that there are princesses and princes as well as blue dragons and ogres and the real difficulty is knowing how to distinguish from each other, without stopping at appearances .. And that often behind the glow of glitter and sequins, big hair and heavy make-up, there is just so much loneliness. Life is damn cool but we must NEVER let our guard down. "Cause it slips away in an instant, even if you are young, beautiful and sings like an angel.  Now, gback to your somersaults and, if you can, avoid jumping on my bladder, mum and daddy go for a walk...

Love,
me.
